Additional information / Pre-requisites
Basic knowledge in Physics and Mathematics. Knowledge of the physics / B.Sc. Module "Einführung in die Astronomie und Astrophysik" advised.
Comments
Optical and infrared astronomy. Modern observing techniques (CCD, EMCCD, other detectors). Photometry, polarimetry, interferometry in details. Basic spectroscopy. Data reduction, standard transformation. Light curve analysis of transiting planets and eclipsing binary stars. Stellar parameters; extraction of information from photometry. Astronomical databases. close
