For writing a scholarly piece of work, it is necessary to know the relevant literature - but how to find it? And how to adduce the works read in the bibliography?
This course will introduce the bibliographic tools of Arabic Studies and discuss how to deal with different types of publications, transcribed book titles etc. and will offer help on how to best manage a bibliography and footnotes. Concrete examples will be dealt with.
This class is open to students of all programmes dealing with Arabic (BA, MA, diploma).
