This course is designed for doctoral students working on their dissertation in the field of history. Each week, we will discuss selected core texts relating to historical theory and historical methods as well as the students’ intellectual interests and research foci.
Course requirements:
Regular participation in class; be familiar with, and ready to discuss, the required readings for class; participate in the discussion; provide short essays.
