This course invites students to the theoretical and practical understandings of Korean social cultural changes with focuses on the dynamics of the civil movements and geopolitical structures. We will learn the theories of social change in anthropology, and explore the poetry, songs, and films to better grasp the emotional dimensions including han (?), agonies, sensibilities, aspirations, etc. in interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives. close
