The Colloquium Global History will be convened by Sebastian Conrad, Valeska Huber and Christoph Kalter. It is a forum to discuss the latest developments in the field, and to explore the ways in which global perspectives help us to rethink our understanding of the past beyond national narratives. Typically, guest speakers present their ideas for about 40 minutes, followed by a Q&A and plenary discussion; everyone is welcome to attend and to participate in the discussions. Requirements for credit for the course include regular attendance and a short reflection paper (1200 words); details will be discussed in class For detailed program see below close
