In Part I of the seminar, we discuss the Supreme Court’s role in US politics and explore the relationship between the Supreme Court and society. In Part II, we zoom in on a crucial link between the Supreme Court and the general public – the news media. We deepen our understanding of the current media environment and newsroom norms and routines before we turn to media coverage of the Supreme Court.
