WiSe 12/13: Theories and Practices of Contemporary US Foreign Policy
Lora Anne Viola
Kommentar
The aim of this course is to study, in a theoretically informed way, the sources and trends of US foreign policy. It will critically examine the structures, interests and values that underlie the goals of policy and that shape policy decisions, while also studying major foreign policy events and milestones. The course will introduce students to central theoretical approaches, analytical concepts, and social scientific methods.
