Master course. Prerequisite: Quantum Chemistry. 1 SWS lecture and 1.5 SWS tutorial. 3 credits.
Comments
The goal of the lecture is quantum simulation of dissociation processes, which involve continuum states.
For simplicity, dissociation of diatomic molecules will be employed to illustrate the techniques for constructing
continuum wave functions. However most of the concepts and the systematic procedures can be applied to
ionization processes as well. An experimental part is also included as motivation. Examinations are by carrying
out the computational work successfully. close
