Additional information / Pre-requisites

  • Einordnung in das fakultativen Lehrangebot des FB.
  • Zielgruppe sind ausländische Studierende insbesondere ERASMUS-Studierende.
  • Die Erasmus-Studierenden erhalten benotete Scheine mit ECTS-Credits und Eintragung ins Erasmus-Transscript of Records.
  • Bachelor-Studierende der FU erhalten ebenfalls Scheine mit ECTS-Credits und die Aufnahme der LV ins Diploma Supplement.
  • Jedoch wird die LV für Bachelor-Studierende der FU nicht für den Bachelor-Studiengang angerechnet.
  • Die LV ist auch für Studierende der Psychologie und der Erziehungsiwssenschaft zugänglich.
  • Die Teilnahme wird auf insgesamt auf ca. 30 Teilnehmer begrenzt.

This online-seminar seminar is designed for English speaking students - especially Erasmus students and guest students from foreign countries. In order to receive an attestation of participation in this seminar or for getting a graded certificate, you need to pass the final written exam taking place January 28, 2014. For passing the final written exam you will receive 4 ECTS credits (4 LPs).
The seminar is also open for students registered in BA- and MA- programs in Psychology and in Educational Science at the FU Berlin. However as an optional seminar in the curriculum this seminar is counted as bonus item for the Diploma Supplement.

Content: This online seminar consists of the following 10 online learning modules (chapters) accessible any time any place via the Learning Management System (lms) Blackboard of FU Berlin:
  1. What is elearning?
  2. Learning theory: Behaviorism
  3. Learning theory: Cognitivism
  4. Cognitivism: Case based reasoning and learning with mental scripts
  5. Learning theory: Constructivism
  6. Constructivism: problem-oriented and interactive learning
  7. Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
  8. Project management and didactical conception of elarning
  9. Media desing and development of elearning applications
  10. Evaluation of elearning applications.
Studying a module requires about 2 to 3 hours of independent work. It is recommended that you study one module every week of the semester. There are self -test questions in each module with master solutions to check your learning progress. Please answer the self-test questions regularly, since the final exam will consist of a selection of these self-test questions. For increasing your learning motivation, the LMS offers you the possibility to communicate with your fellow students via chat/forum/email.
