Up to 10 students of computer science and mathematics will collaborate on a software development project from the realm of scientific computing. We will specify the desired features and behaviour of the software to be developed depending on the size and composition of the group - a typical project will include generation and analysis of numerical/simulation data as well as data management and storage.
To meet the different backgrounds of mathematicians and computer scientists, the project will include aspects of both numerics (such as simulation aspects) as well as pure informatics (such as data processing, database design and development, software architecture design). close
