Inhalt: BMS Advanced Course, in English.
The Course will show how methods from (elementary and advanced) Algebraic Topology can be used to treat problems from Discrete Geometry.
The Tutorials (Übungen) will provide all the necessary tools from Algebraic Topology. Contents:
I. Configuration Space/Test Map schemes for Discrete Geometry Problems
II. Group Cohomology/Index Theory methods
III. Equivariant Obstruction Theory methods.
Zielgruppe: Studierende im Masterstudiengang Mathematik können diese Vorlesung im Rahmen des Moduls "Topologie III" oder "Diskrete Mathematik III" wählen.
