(Modul Ökosystemdynamik im M.Sc. Environmental Earth Sciences)

Colloquium Ecosystemdynamic Qualification objectives: Students possess a comprehensive understanding of dynamic processes, climate and the interactions between palaeontologically relevant taxa in marine and continental ecosystems of the Phanerozoic; in both theory and practice, they are able to analyse these factors in the field, interpret them and present the results in an expert and professional manner.
Planning meeting: 20.10.2016 at 16:00h in D030
Presentation meeting: 13.01.* and 20.01.2017*, 9:00 – 12:00h (Colloquium of the Working group Applied Geography, Environmental Hydrology and Resource Management)
(Please note that you will have to give a presentation of about 15 minutes on your topic of your master thesis, or if not yet determined, on a topic that might become your master thesis. Please organize yourself, so that there are the same number of presentations on each date)
Talks by choice (at least 10 dates are mandatory)
Students need to attend at least ten different talks offered within the institute colloquia of the Department of Earth Sciences. Please check frequently online schedules for (new) dates and topics:
Colloquium of the Institute of Geological Sciences (GeoKolloquium FU Berlin)
Thu 16 – 18h (several dates per semester)
Colloquium of the Institute of Geographical Sciences
Tue 12 – 14h (several dates per semester)
Colloquium of the Institute of Meteorology, Mon 15 – 17h (several dates per semester)
