This seminar introduces the concepts of human in regard to health in-securities. First, it delves into the differences between security, securitization and human security. Second, it analyses the (re)location of (in)security between states and human beings. Third, focusing in detail on health security as seen in the cases of HIV and AIDS and Ebola, it will trace the connections between state and human (in)securities as embedded in international policy making.
