Julien Bachelier

Kommentar

In this course, students will explore the evolution of the intimate relationships that we, as a species, have cultivated with members of the Plant Kingdom. After a brief history of the concept of plant and their classification, students will learn to identify the main lineages of plants based on their vegetative and reproductive structures, and how they have been and continue to be used for our benefits. Ideally, students will have learned at the end of the course to better appreciate the diversity of plants and the crucial role they played and continue to play in the rise of human modern civilizations and in the every day's life of different cultures around the world.
