Kommentar
The second part of the course introduces students to qualitative methods, research strategies and approaches to the study of politics in a local, national and global context. Students will acquire basic skills regarding the development of research designs, concept formation, the development of analytical narratives and causal explanations of (trans-)national political processes in an increasingly globalized and entangled world. In addition to familiarizing students with different qualitative approaches to the study of politics, including, amongst others, political ethnography, case study research and comparative historical analysis, the seminar also aims at providing participants with basic skills regarding how to carry out these methods in practice. Regular participation as well as very good English language skills is required. Schließen
