SoSe 14: Challenges for Political Journalism - a Transnational Perspective
Margreth Lünenborg , Saskia Sell
Comments
This Research Practice is a follow-up to the Political Journalism class taught in collaboration with St. Petersburg State University in Winter 2013/14. After opening up the field of inter- and transnational journalism research and dealing with the political, economic and legal contexts of journalistic production as well as with ethical challenges, organizational changes and new forms of Citizen Journalism, students are now developing their own empirical projects. Small research groups are conducting, presenting and discussing their own analyses from a transnational perspective - with a special focus on those analytical methods functioning as tools to understand processes of professional production and journalistic content. close
