This Colloquium offers BA candidates wishing to write their theses in the fields of North American economics, history, politics, or sociology an opportunity to assemble their „writer’s tool kit“, present their research, and discuss each other’s work. We will discuss key aspects of the „craft of research“: How to find and develop ideas and topics, how to assemble and organize our data, how to write effectively and efficiently, how to cite various kinds of sources properly, how to present our approach and our findings to others and how to cooperatively and adequately critique our peers’ work.
