In this course we will deal with the basics of scientific work. The
course, which consists of three parts, is conceptualized for students who
have little or no experience with writing papers ("Hausarbeit") in
Germany.
The focus is on the single steps of the writing process:
Identifying the research topic, evaluating the relevant literature, developing a research question, formulating hypotheses, giving your paper a clear structure, and writing a first draft.
Furthermore, participants learn how to correctly cite literature and how to use a reference management system.
It is not possible to participate in just one of the sessions because the sessions complement each other. close
