The lecture and exercises aim at a professional introduction to computer-algebraic methods useful for different applications to a wide range of physics problems. It will cover an introduction to the main command structures. It will then turn to algorithms like analytic linear algebra, the analytic solution of differential equations, advanced analytic integration, analytic handling of big data, solution of combinatorial problems, to mention a few topics. They are of direct importance to many theoretical problems.
