Kommentar

Transfer operators can be used for the analysis of complex dynamical systems, which arise for instance in molecular dynamics, oceanography, atmospheric sciences, and electrical networks. In this Seminar, we will introduce the basics of transfer operators, learn how to apply them to the aforementioned application areas, and investigate recently developed numerical tools for their analysis.
