Selected subjects of IT security
In summer 2016 the seminar will deal with quantum computer resistant cryptanalytics. In particular we will discuss selected chapters from "Post-Quantum Cryptography" by Daniel J. Bernstein, Johannes Buchmann and Erik Dahmen (Eds). Contents of the seminar are:
- Abilities of quantum computers
- Quantum algorithms
- Cryptographic hash systems
- Grid-based cryptography
- Multivariate cryptography
- Code-based cryptography
- Cryptoanalysis of quantum computer resistant procedures
Knowledge in the areas of IT security and cryptography is obligatory.
