The course provides a deepended discussion of fundamental concepts in Atomic and Molecular Physics (quantum-mechanial description of atoms and molecules, and their interaction with electromagnetic fields) on the basis of relevant examples from different areas, e.g. optical, infra-red, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
