Comments
This course will cover the nutritional aspects of domestic animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, chinchillas, and degus. Initially knowledge will be summarized based on classical ration calculation. The main feeding errors will be discussed and the options of dietetic treatment will be highlighted based on practical examples. Students are welcome to suggest topics, such as diet assessment or individual case studies.
Learning objectives:
1. Students have deep knowledge about the nutritional basis of these species.
2. You can assess nutritional plans and give expert advice to pet owners.
3. You will be able to give specific dietary recommendations for diseases.
