Kommentar
The colloquium will assist students with the design, research and writing of their BA’s thesis. In early sessions we will examine the “nuts and bolts” of the research process including: the move from a broad, undefined research interest to a narrow, researchable focus; the formulation of a good research question/problem; the characteristics of an effective argument; appropriate use of sources, and; the finer points of style and organization.
Later sessions will provide students with the opportunity to practice designing their own bachelor thesis project. Students will present an outline of their research projects for feedback from the instructor and fellow students.
