This course invites advanced undergraduate students and mater program students to deepen our understanding of Korean society and culture with focus on the theme of time and space. This is a team-teaching and mutual learning seminar and interdisciplinary practice in which cultural anthropologist, medical anthropologist, urban sociologist, and political scientists lead the lectures and discussions on such specific topics as ethnographic research methods, religion & nationalism, body & spirit, rights to the space, North Korean human rights, and South Korean education policy. Critical and active engagements in the class dialogues in English or Korean are required close
