The goal of this methodology seminar is the practical approach of methodology knowledge, especially regarding data collection. Specifically, a research project is to be developed and carried out in working groups. The course thematically focuses on the field of religion and mass media and the method of quantitative surveys. We will talk about theoretical frameworks and the corresponding state of research before the student working groups will work on their own research questions and projects. The students will develop and evaluate research instruments before starting to collect and interpret their own data. Registration is done via Campus Management; the course will be held in English.
