Kommentar
In this seminar, we will look at histories of resistance, self-organization and oppression of women in the African continent during the colonial era. Their challenges as subjects of genocide, slavery and forced labour, but also how colonial administrations viewed women and the gender conceptions they used, will be subject of discussion and interaction. The aim is to place women's experiences at the centre to understand and rethink colonialism from their perspectives. Schließen
