SoSe 20: Rationalities and Practices of Surveillance
Markus Kienscherf, Lora Anne Viola
Comments
In this seminar, we will not only survey the field of surveillance
studies, interrogating notions of the surveillance society, surveillance
culture and surveillance capitalism, but also analyze the various, and
often contradictory, roles of surveillance in state-making, market-making,
security governance and social ordering. close
