Comments

The lecture series is intended to introduce students to host:pathogen interactions of important bacterial pathogens with their host, with a special emphasis on the host immune response and how the bacterial pathogens can modulate or evade immune detection and responses. Basic principles of the immune response are reviewed, and in following lectures virulence mechanisms and specific interactions with the host are described for medically important bacterial pathogens. close
