Comments
The course will focus on current debates in Gender and Queer Theories. This will include topics, theories and approaches such as gender and ecology, intersectionality, nomadic theory, postfeminism, postsecularism, queer affects and queer temporality, and transgenderism. Please note that this is not an introduction to Gender Studies; students participating in the course should therefore be familiar with the basic assumptions and approaches in the field.
All reading for the class will be uploaded on Blackboard.
Students are expected to attend regularly and participate in all course activities (e.g. through presentations, short responses, group work).
