Travelling has always been an important way of coming to terms with the world. Whether we travel by ship, by plane, or on foot, whether we look for a tourist adventure, for business relations or for new opportunities in other countries, travelling has an impact on how we perceive the world and ourselves. This seminar will explore how various forms of travelling are taken up in writing or on film.
