Theoretical foundations of electromagnetic deep sounding methods: Maxwell's equations, induction equations. Electrical conductivity of rocks, natural and controlled sources of electromagnetic fields, principles of sensors and methods of measuring. Data processing and data interpretion techniques. Principles of inversion theory. Case studies.
