SoSe 21: Research on Health, Risk and Science Communication

Overview: In this seminar, we will read and discuss research on health, risk and science communication. Empirical studies and the development of your own research interests will be central. This will be an online seminar, no physical presence required.

Goals: Reading and writing routine; basic knowledge of the research fields, theories and methods; finding your own research interests and research questions in this area.

Requirements: Active and regular participation, i.e., reading the compulsory literature, participating in group discussions, individual and group exercises, tests and one individual presentation of a study with thesis paper. The required reading comprises about 25 pages per session.

Exam: Term paper of 12-15 pages in English, submission at the end of the lecture period, deadline July 31st, 2021.
