Zugangsvoraussetzungen: erfolgreiche Absolvierung des Moduls „Angewandte Geophysik I und II“. Verbindliche Anmeldung am 17.04.2019, danach wird Campus Management für die Veranstaltung freigeschaltet.

The students are able to carry out simple geophysical exploration campaigns. They have the ability to correctly record, process and interpret data, and they can present their results properly.
In the weekly seminar, the students develop the theoretical basics of the measurement methods and the evaluation techniques. During the field work the students apply these methods to map geological structures or other subsurface features. Usually methods from geoelectrics, gravimetry, magnetics and seismics are used. Students will process the acquired data using existing sorftware packages.
