SoSe 21: Feminist Foreign Policy
Jessica Cheung
Comments
The purpose of this course is to critically engage with feminist foreign policies as a larger political phenomenon. Using critical feminist and decolonial approaches, this course will disrupt discursively constructed notions of the “good state” and “ethical politics” by considering the hidden state violence that is perpetuated through pro-gender norm adherence, and the instrumentalisation of feminism and gender equality. Additionally, this course will also introduce the use of feminist research methods as a meaningful approach to conducting academic research. close
