SoSe 21: HS-Interfacing Linguistics+Literature: Literature and/as Games
Andreas Mahler
Comments
“Do not forget,” the older Wittgenstein famously reminded himself with regard to poetry, “that a poem, even though it is composed in the language of information, is not used in the language game of giving information.” The seminar, which is offered in combination with its tutorial, will try to explore the relation between literature and games by discussing literature as game, games in literature, and, as the Wittgenstein quote seems to make clear, games of reception of literature. Information on teaching conditions will be shared shortly before the first session. close
