This interdisciplinary introductory course (6 SWS) offers all students in the North American Studies program an overview of developments in American politics, sociology, and economics. Central issues and texts will first be introduced in lectures and then discussed in more depth in tutorials. Students will not only develop content-specific knowledge, but also develop a familiarity with interdisciplinary questions. close
