Comments

This course is dedicated especially to students who are willing to continue their career in research (doctoral studies, science). The aim of the course is to bring a student closer to the aspects of a practical research in animal nutrition focusing on intestinal microbiology. A student will learn how to organise a laboratory work and operate equipment for certain analyses. A student will isolate and characterise gut bacteria using classical and molecular techniques. From the performed methods and obtained results along the course, a student will draw a manuscript for a scientific publication. Approximately 50 % of the course will be performed in self-study (from home or library). close
