Seminar
SoSe 22: Computational Cognitive Neuroscience - Seminar
Joram Soch
Information for students
The seminar will take place Tuesdays at 10 a.m., starting from 19/04/2022, in room JK 25 / 021f. The students will need MATLAB, SPM12 and TAPAS on their computers to perform data analyses. The course will be completed with poster presentations in the last sessions which will constitute the examination for this seminar. close
Additional information / Pre-requisites
Students should have a good understanding of experimental methods in cognitive neuroscience, be capable of fMRI data analysis using SPM12 and have some basic MATLAB programming skills.
Comments
In this course, students will be introduced to topics of computational cognitive neuroscience, different approaches to fMRI data analysis, computational modelling of cognitive processes and modelling perceptual learning under uncertainty. In the second half of the course, this knowledge will be applied to an open fMRI data set by implementing a cognitive model in MATLAB and performing a "model-based" fMRI data analysis in SPM. close
