WiSe 12/13: Economic Growth and Income Distribution in the US
Ulf Christian Ewert
Kommentar
This course is dedicated to the long-term, real economic issues of economic growth and the distribution of income both with respect to the underlying factors of production (the functional distribution of claims on society’s economic production) and with respect to the personal or household distribution of economic welfare as altered by the redistribution of factor incomes through government mandated taxes and transfers. Real, long-term economic trends in the United States are considered within both an historical as well as a comparative global context.
