1. Contents: This seminar accompanies the lecture "Molecular Cell Biology" (216431a). Every participant is required to present a current journal article related to the subject of the lecture of the same day. The presentation and the subsequent discussion will be in English. The participants are encouraged to use the provided video beamer for their presentations. 2. Literature: Books: "Molecular Biology of the Cell" by Alberts et al. (5th, 2007, Garland Pub, ISBN 978-0-8153-4106-2), "Molecular Cell Biology" by Loish et al. (6th, 2007, Freeman, W.H. & Co, ISBN 978-0-7167-7601-7) and recently published journal articles distributed and presented in this seminar. 3. Further remarks: At the end of the seminar a multiple choice test will be given to the participants. Only those who present a paper and pass the test, will be admitted to the practical course.
