Writing Lab Organizing, expressing and presenting ideas clearly and effectively are important skills in any professional environment - not just in publishing or journalism. Written as well as oral presentations should be precise and to-the-point, while engaging your audience. Unfortunately, many authors, especially in the academic world, underestimate the influence of good communication. This hands-on workshop will help you improve your writing and editing skills with a professional audience in mind. We will practice writing purpose-driven documents as well as drafting confident presentations with a focus on the workplace, the media, and the web. Participants are expected to engage in individual and group activities. Dates: 14.01.2015, 16.01.2015, 17.01.2015 (3 days).
