Nadja Ben Khelifa
Kommentar
This tutorial, which is designed to be taken along with the lecture
"Introduction to Literary Studies: Basic Questions, Concepts, and
Methods", offers students a chance to apply the knowledge they have gained
in that lecture. On the basis of a selection of poems, a prose text and a
drama, they will be able to develop and hone their skills in analyzing and
interpreting literary texts. In addition, a few pieces of literary
criticism are read so that students may familiarize themselves with
scholarly texts and thought. The tutorial aims to give students the
ability to understand a historically and generically diverse range of
texts and to talk and write about them in clear terms. It additionally
offers an introduction to academic writing and research techniques. The
class is taught in English.
Regular attendance and active participation are compulsory. Credits for the whole module can be obtained by taking a 90-minute exam (based on the lecture and tutorial).
Please note that the number of participants per tutorial is limited. Students must sign up via Campus Management in order to be allotted a place. Schließen
