Comments
The Global History Master colloquium offers students an opportunity to reflect on the process and organization of academic research and writing. The course on the actual process of completing the master's thesis as well as on the specific challenges of writing a thesis in global history. Depending on whether students are at the beginning of writing their thesis or in the middle of the project, the colloquium will cover topics including how to develop a research question, conduct research, draft a working plan, and present academic findings. Regardless of which stage of the writing process students may find themselves in, each participant will be expected to present his/her project during the course of the semester. close
