Lukas Obholzer
Comments
“Who gets what, when, and how” in European Union (EU) legislative decision-making? This course provides in-depth theoretical and empirical knowledge of representation, legislative organization, and political behaviour in the EU’s two key legislative institutions, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU. On this basis it analyses formal and informal decision-making procedures as well as legislative-executive relations. Students will gain insights into political monitoring of these processes and will become acquainted with established datasets and tools to collect their own data for research projects in the framework of the course. close
