  Comments
        This introductory course provides an overview over some of the main topics in the economics of development. The first part of the course traces the history of ideas in economic development, covering, among others, modernization theories and state-led industrialization strategies in the post-war era. The second part of the course covers a range of selected topics in development micro- and macroeconomics. Course language will be German and English.        close
