In dem Proseminar werden Grundfragen der internationalen Ordnung zur Diskussion gestellt. Nach einem strukturierten Überblick über die Debatte um global governance, geht es im Einzelnen um folgende Fragenkomplexe:
• Is the rules based international system set to unravel? And if so, why and how?
• What form(s) will the global political order take in the future?
• Which actors are likely to gain and lose status? And why?
• What are drivers and threats? And how do they change over time?
• How can international frameworks aim to achieve security in a volatile world? And what are the means and tools?
Einzelne Themenkomplexe und eine einführende Literaturliste werden zu Beginn des Semesters vorgestellt.
