BSc-GG05: Modul Einführung in die Mineralogie/Kristallographie (StudO/PO 2017 und 2012: Grundkurs (2 SWS) + Übung (2 SWS) = 6 LP)
Comments
Qualifikationsziele: Die Studentinnen und Studenten kennen die Grundlagen der Kristallographie (Symmetrieprinzipien), der Kristallchemie (Bindungstypen, Strukturmodelle), der spezielle Mineralogie (Systematik der Silikate) und der Kristalloptik (Polarisationsmikroskopie).
Inhalte: Symmetrien, Morphologie, stereographische Projektion (Wulffsches Netz), Kristallchemie (Bindungstypen), Kristallstrukturen, Polymorphie, Phasentransformationen, Keimbildung und Kristallwachstum, spezielle Mineralogie (Systematik Silikate, ausgewählte Nicht-Silikate).
