WiSe 18/19: Panorama der Mathematik
Carsten Lange, Rainer Sinn
Comments
This is for a course in German - Short explanation in English:
Panorama of Mathematics is a four-hour overview course that presents the wide field of modern Mathematics - its history, its topics, its problems, its methods, some basic concepts, applications, etc.
This will not be taught as a four-hour course any more, but students can register for it, and then take the two-hour courses Mathematical Panorama (this winter term) and Mathematical Panorama II (next summer), which together count as the four-hour course (as listed in some curricula at FU Berlin).
