Language Skills: The course materials will be provided in English (minimum B2), no German language skills are required. Course requirements and Examination: This is a master-level (or bachelor-level) seminar, requiring an oral presentation (max. 15 min.), together with a written one-page hand-out, and a term paper with minimum 3.500 words. If you are an international student and you want to know if this course fits in your requirements, pls. check and confirm it with the international office and relevant examination office at your home university. If you only want to listen and require your presence certified, you still need to give an oral presentation together with related hand-out and paper. Please note that your term paper as well as your presentation topics will have to be agreed with the instructor. The term paper has to be submitted in printed form no later than 8 Feb 2019. Grading: It will consider active participation and oral presentation in equal measure, 30% of each; and term paper as 40%. You are expected to actively participate in every session and discussions showing that you have prepared and read the recommended material. close
